Terms and Conditions for SeQr Verify App – Powered by SeQr Technology

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SeQr Verify App used for Anti-Counterfeiting and Lost and Found QR Code Services App (the "App") provided by SeQr Technology By using the App, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully before using the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
2. Service Overview
The App provides two primary services:
- Anti-Counterfeiting: Enabling businesses and users to verify the authenticity of products through SeQr codes, helping prevent counterfeit goods from being sold or circulated.
- Lost and Found: Helping users track and recover lost items by generating and scanning SeQr codes linked to lost and found goods.
3. Account Registration and User Responsibilities
To use certain features of the App, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information as necessary.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose, including the sale or distribution of counterfeit goods.
- Upload, post, or transmit any content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Engage in any activity that could harm the App, its users, or interfere with its functionality.
5. Anti-Counterfeiting Services
Verification of Products: The App allows users to verify the authenticity of products by scanning SeQr codes embedded on product packaging or labels. The App relies on the information provided by businesses or manufacturers for verification. We do not guarantee the accuracy of the information provided by third parties.
No Guarantee Against Counterfeiting: While the App aims to help identify counterfeit products, it does not guarantee the authenticity of every item. Users should independently verify product authenticity before purchasing.
Reporting Counterfeit Goods: If you encounter counterfeit goods, you may report them through the App. However, we are not responsible for the investigation or resolution of counterfeit claims.
6. Lost and Found Services
Creating and Scanning SeQr Codes: Users can generate and scan SeQr codes associated with lost or found items. The App facilitates communication between parties involved in finding or returning items but does not guarantee the return of lost items.
Verification of Ownership: The App provides a platform for lost and found item claims but does not verify ownership or guarantee the return of items. You are responsible for verifying ownership and handling the return or collection of lost items.
No Liability for Lost Items: We are not responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of items reported as lost or found through the App.
7. Privacy Policy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be accessed at LINK. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality on the App, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and software, are the property of SeQr Technology or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SeQr Technology shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including any issues related to counterfeit goods or lost item recovery.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SeQr Technology, its partners, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the App, or any other wrongful conduct related to the App.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.
12. Modifications
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Effective Date" at the top of the page will be updated accordingly. By continuing to use the App after any changes, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the local laws. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Mumbai, India.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
